At Joyful Home Inc., we create Canadian artisan soy wax candles and melts designed to bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of home into your everyday life. Each candle is hand-poured in Lively, Ontario using high-quality soy wax and carefully selected fragrance oils, providing a clean, long-lasting burn without the harmful chemicals often found in traditional candles.

Joyful Home was founded by Diana LeBlanc, whose strength and determination laid the foundation for everything we do today. After battling MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome) and undergoing a stem cell transplant in 2014, Diana was unable to return to her previous career. Instead, she focused on finding a meaningful way to support her family from home.

With a passion for cooking and baking, Diana began sharing recipes through her food blog. That same love for comforting, familiar scents inspired Joyful Home—candles that capture the essence of fresh desserts and homemade treats, without the calories or toxins.

In 2018, Diana began handcrafting candles in her kitchen. What started as a small passion project quickly grew. By 2019, Diana, Cory, and their daughter Alysha were attending markets and craft shows, where customers connected not only with the scents but with the story behind them.

As demand increased, Joyful Home expanded. In November 2020, the company moved into a dedicated production space and opened the Joyful Home Gift Studio in Lively, Ontario. More than just a storefront, it became a hub for local artisans, offering a place for makers to showcase their products during a time when many markets were unavailable.

Even through new challenges, Diana and Cory continued building the brand together. After Diana’s passing in 2021, Cory carried the business forward full-time, continuing the vision they built together alongside Alysha, who remains an important part of the journey.

Today, Joyful Home candles and melts are enjoyed across Canada and the United States. While the company has grown, its values remain the same—hand-poured quality, authentic craftsmanship, and a commitment to supporting local communities.
